See site-specific  art from the 1960s to the present as well as special exhibitions and new commissions in a former Nabisco box-printing factory on the banks of the Hudson River.

* Each gallery of the 300,000-square-foot. sunlit space was designed specifically for the installation of one artist’s work, making for striking, unique installations. like Dan Flavin’s “monuments” for V. Tatlin. Richard Serra’s Torqued Ellipses, and Michael Heizer’s North, East, South, West.

* Dia Beacon café is open with a limited menu of take-out items. Café access is on exit of the museum only. Outdoor seating available.

*  Closed Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays.

 Approximately 80 minutes from Manhattan. 1/2 mile from the Beacon train station. The Beacon Free Loop bus runs Monday through Saturday from the Metro-North Beacon train station to Dia Beacon, Main Street, and Mount Beacon, before returning to the train station. Passengers may hail the bus at any Beacon Free Loop sign along the route.
