Celebrate the end of the summer by dancing at Queens Museums monthly cultural festival. Enjoy live music and dance performances, art-making workshops, and the opportunity to learn more about the community. Activities include face painting with dancing themes, story time, paper making station, crochet and embroidery workshop, the Queensboro Dance Festival performance with dance performances by Yamini Kalluri & Dwayne Beach; Sheep Meadow Dance Theater; Greek American Folklore Society; and Rogue Dancers plus a mini dance workshop led by the Greek American Folklore Society, a book reading of“Bomba Portorriqueña” by Milteri Tucker and a dance performance by Bombazo Kids.
Jurassic & Triassic Playground
Dino lovers can climb and play on an dino-inspired equipment at two playgrounds on opposite sides of Meadow Lake created to commemorate the Sinclair Oil “Dinoland” exhibit at the 1964-65 World’s Fair.
