At 10:30 am, museum educators share the story of The Golden Flower: A Taino Myth from Puerto Rico. This creation story originates from a myth of the Tainos, one of the indigenous cultures of the West Indies. From 1-5 pm, celebrate and acknowledge cultures that have originated in New York City in the Art, Artist & You exhibit. Pay respect to these native people and populations.

Explore the work of a diverse set of artists who work with materials and techniques such as assemblage/collage, fiber arts, technology/new media and paper.
The Creative Kitchen hosts apple inspired food craft stations, leads cooking demonstrations, and shares apple-based storytimes. At 2 & 3 pm, discover creative ways to make simple, healthy and delicious dishes and snacks with apples Chef Cricket Azima.
