Reclining Liberty

Touch, climb and sit atop a 25-foot-long sculpture of a lounging Statue of Liberty, inspired by the giant reclining Buddhas found in Asia. An oxidized copper-like patina mimics the real Lady Liberty. On a grassy field just up from Morningside Park’s entrance.

Uptown GRANDSCALE Mural Project
