City of Water Day

Celebrate NYC’s long history as a port and water-bound metropolis with free boat tours on all kinds of vessels from tall ships to tugboats. Plus meet local marine life, make crafts, try science experiments, visit a Disney Children’s Activity Fair and learn about the work of the many organizations that connect New Yorkers to the waterfront. Food trucks and tables including Lobster GoGo, Fulton Stall Market, Anton’s Dumplings, Amanda Bananas, and Cobble Fish.
More events happening in neighborhoods throughout NYC including a Tern Festival in Governor’s Island, a Cardboard Kayak Race in Brooklyn Bridge Beach a Sustainability Scavenger Hunt in Battery Park, Harvest Celebration in Stuyvesant Cove Park and Estuary Lab Science Saturday in Tribeca.
