Celebrate Halloween with a special spooky version of stART drop-in plus tricks and treats. Join in costume for a special glow-in-the-dark art experience with stART Teaching Artists as they create a spooky (but kooky!) haunted house.
Stay and explore the Children’s Museum of The Arts after for $6 more and make a monster opera in the sound booth plus other seasonal art projects.
The Happening 2023
Church Street School for Music and Art hosts its annual community block party with live music by students, faculty & special guests, interactive art projects, games, raffles and more.
New this year, shop an indoor Happening Maker Market featuring local teen and adult artists. Food & drink available for purchase.

Ladybug Day
Help park volunteers release thousands of ladybugs in the park. Ladybugs eat aphids, which are harmful to trees and shrubs. Ladybugs help to keep the park green, healthy and strong.

Friends of the Washington Market Park Concert Series
Catch a family-friendly concert in a pretty park. Bring a blanket and a picnic if you wish. The series includes local favorites Jonny Hirsch, Rolie Polie Guacamole and Astrograss.
