Throughout June, CMOM uplifts and honors LGBTQIA+ voices in honor of Pride Month with a full schedule of storytelling workshops, colorful creations and parades.Help create a gigantic Pride flag by filling it with unique colorful objects. On Saturdays, join 2 pm Mighty Pride Parades – follow the lead of puppets and snare drum articulations and march through Museum hallways in solidarity with all children and their right to their personal identity. On Sundays, join 3 pm Kiki Dance Parties – groove and shake those sillies out to the sounds of house beats.

Related art projects change weekly. Build tools to stand up for rights, celebrate community and commemorate the anniversary Stonewall uprising.

Music in a Garden

Enjoy a free concert in a lovely volunteer-run garden. Musicians change weekly; hear a variety of genres from an Argentinian duo to a jazz quartet.

River Run Playground

A shady large playground nestled in pretty Riverside Park is  just big enough for range of ages but small enough not to lose wanderers within its fences.  Play on all sorts of equipment including see saws, swings, multiple jungle gyms, and monkey bars and a large sand pit.

Diana Ross Playground

Summit Rock, the highest natural point in Central Park, provides a shady (climbable) backdrop to this pretty playground.
