Part bakery, coffee bar, cafeteria-style lunch and a chocolate shop, this neighborhood bakery with a worldwide reputation has organic, locavore salads and sandwiches plus decadent hot chocolate and famous specialty baked goods like pretzel croissants and vegan chocolate chip cookies. Slightly overpriced ($7 for a hot chocolate with a giant marshmallow and beware the by-weight salad bar) but totally worth. Bright, retro yet modern design with seating available.
