This baby-friendly program features touchable objects, songs, exploration of the art in the galleries, and an opportunity to connect with other adults. Each month features a different exhibition.

Prospect Park Zoo

This former menagerie is designed to allow up-close animal viewing, perfect for families with young children who want to learn about wildlife.

Explore a Discovery Trail and encounter 400 animals of 150 species including red pandas, dingos, procupines and a host of beautiful birds. Visit unique small cats, sea lions and Chinese-big headed turtles.

Prospect Park Carousel Opening Day

Take your first ride of spring on Prospect Park Alliance’s historic Carousel. 53 magnificent horses ride alongside a lion, a giraffe, a deer and two dragon-pulled chariots in a charming carousel built in 1912. One of the only wheelchair accessible carousels in the nation.
