Stop by the Gowanus Dredgers Canoe Club Boathouse for some flapjacks and learn about what’s happening in Gowanus. Consume a few extra calories in preparation for the Brooklyn Folk Festival’s annual Banjo Toss in the canal occurring immediately afterwards at the shoreline. Take a few practice tosses using one of the canoe paddles. If weather allows, there may canoeing opportunities for intrepid voyagers. OHNY free canoeing is all weekend from 1-6pm.
