Commemorate the 50th anniversary of Hip-Hop with a multimedia exhibit recognizing the intersection of legendary African American musical icons and memorable TV moments. See milestones throughout the decades, including highlights from significant performances and Black artists who helped shape the industry.

Explore original costumes, including suits worn by Louis Armstrong and James Brown and the “Orange Freeze” dresses worn by The Supremes plus artifacts like original scripts, photographs, a trumpet and mouthpiece used by Louis Armstrong and a Gibson Chuck Berry signature guitar.

Watch a curated screenings for all ages including Soul Train highlights and music-themed episodes of The Proud Family, Karma’s World and That’s So Raven.

Join arts & crafts, interactive trivia, a scavenger hunt, and more family-friendly activities. For an additional $10, play at more than twenty gaming & VR stations.
