Battle of Brooklyn: An Eighteenth-Century American Faire

On the anniversary of the 1776 Battle of Brooklyn, the first battle of the American Revolution to be waged after the signing of the Declaration of Independence, join a family-friendly afternoon with costumed interpreters, demonstrations, colonial music, storytelling, and hands-on activities the battle site (now a lovely historic cemetery).

Rock out to live music in a cool courtyard. Each week feature a different musician, from Abba to Billy Joel to Van Morrison. Expect dancing, interactive games and loads of fun.
All are welcome. The core audience is children 10 years and under. Rain or shine. Stick around for Irish music from 3-6 pm.
Play a 9-hole mini golf course featuring iconic Brooklyn landmarks such as the Gowanus Canal and Brooklyn Bridge in an outdoor courtyard. In a colorful retro-style game room, play Ping Pong, Skeeball and arcade style games.
