Discover the world of archaeology through a hands-on exploration of art and artifacts from ancient times to the present day. Dig for artifacts, piece together larger-than-life vessels, examine replicas through weighing and magnifying, interpret symbols in a colorful mosaic, create works of art inspired by unique objects in the Museum’s collection, dress in costumes from long ago in a replica of an ancient Moroccan abode and much more interactive exploration. Take on the role of archaeologists and search for clues about objects dating from ancient times to the present day.
