On warmer days, frolic in the large spraying sprinklers on the mezzanine next to the American Museum of Natural History Planetarium facing 81st Street. Look for steps to the right of the space center or enter from the museum – just ask a guard. Shady benches and trees to rest around the perimeter.
Learn about entire tyrannosaur superfamily and the amazing story of the iconic dinosaur through stunning life-sized models, fossils and casts, and engaging interactives. Visitors ages 12 and up can enjoy an immersive multiplayer virtual reality experience developed exclusively for this exhibition.
Explore artifacts and specimens, hang-out inside a giant tree, put together puzzles, build a dinosaur fossil and conduct scientific experiments in an enclosed hands-on space.
