Grumpy Bert’s sixth annual Red Envelope Exhibit showcase works by over 250 artists downstairs in DeKalb Market Hall. Plus, a traditional Money Tree at the Flatbush Ext. Entrance by illustrator Rose Wong features red envelopes drawn by students and BKLYN community creatives.

Visit Prospect Park Zoo on February Sundays to celebrate the festival of the new moon and animals of the Chinese Zodiac. Meet one of the tiniest rodents in the world, the Eurasian Harvest Mouse and learn how the Wildlife Conservation Society is helping animals in China and Southeast Asia. Special activities and a zodiac scavenger hunt will all be a part of the fun.

Explore the Lunar New Year holiday and the related traditional visual and performing arts in a vibrant, interactive art experience for all ages. Experience the sights and sounds of the holiday through displays, artist workshops, and hands-on activities. Learn about nianhua (New Year pictures), spring couplets, and papercutting.
