Wave Hill Family Art Project: Avifauna Fun Monoprints

Saturday, March 10, 10:00 am–1:00 pm
Wave Hill (West 249th Street & Independence Avenue)
FREE

The historic Wave Hill House nestled among scenic forests and gardens hosts storytime and crafts inspired by the surroundings. This week, notice the elegant and distinctive shapes of local bird species. Working with simple templates or your own design, use large pieces of construction paper and tempera paint to make simple, bold, large-scale birdy monoprints.

Nearby Eat & Treats: The Café in in historic Wave Hill House serves a menu of local, seasonal ingredients including warm entrées, sandwiches, salads and kid-friendly options.
