See a city within a city in the display of a miniature electric railroad running over, through, and beneath some of New York’s most magnificent landmarks. Returning for the first time since 2019, New York Transit Museum’s beloved holiday exhibit features Lionel model trains traveling along a 34’ long, two-level, “O” gauge model train layout.

Departing from a miniature replica of Grand Central Terminal, model trains including Metro-North, Polar Express, and vintage subway train sets making their way past New York landmarks and on to the North Pole.

Shop for transportation & NYC themed toys, books and more in the gift shop.

Tickets must be purchased online in advance.

Mon–Fri 10 am–7:30 pm, Sat & Sun 10 am–6 pm
