In honor of October’s special family celebrations, live musicians will perform in the Education Center to set the tone for festive, art-filled afternoons. Learn how to make and play traditional Nepalese board games as a family. Sculpt cute, silly, or scary game pieces, then play to win. In honor of Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights, create traditional diyas (candles) to take a little festival light home. Feel free to BYOG (Bring Your Own [Board] Game).
Eats & Treats: Try seasonal specialties inspired by the Himalayas, including Thali plates and handmade traditional momo dumplings in peaceful Cafe Serai in the lobby. Kids menu available.
